Services

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy for adults age 18 and older. Sessions are 45 minutes in length.

A broad range of concerns or life events may lead someone to start therapy. Some people come with a particular issue, others want to break patterns that hold them back and still others want a deeper understanding of themselves. Regardless of what brings them to therapy, people usually stay when they find a safe space to explore and connect with their authentic selves. Safety is key, because people often find that what they have to say can feel difficult.

Couples

Couples therapy sessions are 55 minutes in length. All couples are welcome.

In treatment I create space for connection and intimacy, whether it is addressing a short term problem or a longstanding issue. I offer both concrete tools and deeper work to help partners understand how patterns from earlier times may be getting in the way of having a more satisfying relationship now.

Complex issues such as infidelity or communication difficulties are addressed with empathy and concern.

Pre and Postpartum

Becoming a parent, or choosing not to, are important and life-changing experiences. Individuals deserve attuned and knowledgeable support throughout this process. People often have ideas about becoming a parent and what that “should” look like based on their own parents’ history and expectations and perceived societal norms. Reality often feels quite different, creating a sense of isolation and uncertainty about one’s own identity. Together, let’s understand your needs and experience so this can be a time of re-birth for you.

If you have decided that you want to become a parent…

Are you actively trying to conceive or struggling with conception or IVF? Are you feeling traumatized by your birth experience? Feeling overwhelmed by the experience of motherhood? Having difficulty finding your parenting voice? Let me help you navigate this process and discover your own authentic voice.

Work Consultation

Workplace environments can take on the dynamics of families. At their best, they are supportive and collaborative, where individuals, teams and companies thrive. At their worst, they replicate dysfunctional family interactions. I help employees and employers understand the dynamics at play, to best implement changes that empower the entire workplace.

Clinical Supervision

I offer individual Supervision for graduate social work interns, LMSWs seeking clinical licensure, and mental health professionals. Supervisees can work on a particular challenging case, or on an on-going basis to deepen their clinical skills. One of my goals is to help mental health professionals develop their own unique clinical style and identity. I am committed to helping professionals grow their practice as well as their expertise.

Fees

I am happy to discuss my fee by phone during our free introductory phone call. I do offer a sliding scale, on a limited basis, based on need.

Although I am not in network with any insurance plans, my services are reimbursable with out of network benefits. Please check with your insurance carrier to determine if you have out of network benefits. I will be happy to assist you and provide necessary statements for submission for reimbursement.
